Refurbished school delighted at re-opened building

A refurbished school is celebrating after re-opening a building which contains a drama studio & classrooms. KCC (Kent County Council) leader Paul Carter opened the block at Dartford Grammar school for Girls.

The work that the the school had done cost £900,000 and it now holds classrooms for cooking lesson, IT suites, drama studio, humanities and another school hall.

The refurbishment that took place was part of a £3.2m scheme which also includes a new sports hall and games area, to be completed by December 2010.
